Memorializing The Old Taylor
The United States Treasury has two requirements for putting someone’s image on U.S. currency:
The individual must have a well known place in American history.
The individual must be deceased.
Given that Taylor Swift has had one of the most successful musical careers ever, the first requirement has clearly been satisfied. In regards to the second requirement — we all know that she can’t come to the phone right now, and we all know why.
I believe this memorialization of the old Taylor is appropriate. I made this near the beginning of the reputation era, and I’m still quite proud of it.
