Twitter ‘Unintentionally’ Used Personal Data Provided For Account Security For Advertising Purposes

This is now the third time Twitter has had an allegedly accidental privacy snafu in the past few months. As I said last time this happened, I’m getting closer and closer to clicking the ‘delete’ button on Twitter, too.

Jack Dorsey: I now speak directly to you. I want you to know that you are not special. I’ve already deleted my Facebook and Instagram accounts, and your service is not only tangibly less successful than your competitors’, but also less useful to me, personally. If these ‘accidents’ don’t cease, I will have no problem getting rid of my Twitter account and encouraging my massive readership to do the same.
