Samsung Copied Apple’s… Face Masks

We’ve known Samsung will copy just about anything Apple does, including reusing Apple’s symbols and logos rather than just making their own, but it’s always been tech related. Now it seems that Samsung has even ripped off Apple’s in-house designed face masks.

Apple’s design was fairly unique, with multiple panels assembled to create a more fitted, ergonomic mask. I have more than five years of experience in the healthcare field and used plenty of PPE, including masks, and I’d never seen a design like the one Apple came up with. I think it was an original.

Nonetheless, here is Samsung heir Lee Jae-yong wearing a mask that looks strikingly similar to the Apple mask, shown in a screenshot from an Unbox Therapy video.

The complete lack of respect for intellectual property is gross. These Asian companies have no shame.
