Fox News' attorney Erin Murphy argued that […] a reasonable viewer would know [Carlson’s] show offers "provocative things that will help [them] think harder," as opposed to straight news.

"What we’re talking about here, it’s not the front page of The New York Times," said Murphy. “It’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, which is a commentary show.”

It’s always fun to see lawyers forced into corners where the safest legal route is to acknowledge the ugly truths about the companies they work for.

Sounds like Trump is gonna have to make a hard pivot to OANN, now that his longtime favorite network has more or less admitted to serving up fake news.
